NIOA Benalla’s, Michael Liddington, is not only the Quality Manager for the site operations but is also a member of the Benalla Facility’s Emergency Response Team (ERT).
Due the unique nature of the various activities that NIOA and other tenants conducts on site, the ERT undertakes monthly training to ensure that they are fully prepared to attend all possible emergencies that may occur on the site.
October saw the ERT undertake off-site training at the Victorian Emergency Management Training College – Wangaratta Campus.
This month involved a full day of practical training on Hot Fires (Liquids, Gas and General), Search and Rescue, Multi Storey Facilities and Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA).
