Projects LAND 1508
LAND 1508 Greyfin is a 20 year, $3 billion capability modernisation program for Australian army special operations. LAND 1508 takes a novel approach to capability modernisation through budget allocation prior to development for specific requirements.
The objective of LAND 1508 is to acquire new; and modernise existing special operations capabilities against capability themes. The program is a multi-year project with several tranches.
NIOA has been awarded the responsibility for delivering two specialist weapons systems and auxiliary equipment, and engineering expertise for test and evaluation, generalised integration activities and technical document development.
