NIOA’s expanding Defence and Law Enforcement program, and increasing Australian Industry Content (AIC) opportunities, have opened employment opportunities for multiple new staff. We are pleased to welcome the following new staff members to NIOA’s team:

Matthew Gibson in the role of Principal Engineering Manager in NIOA’s Canberra facility. Matthew brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and a solid reputation to the role as one of Defence’s most senior and experienced Explosive Ordnance Engineers. Having trained with the Royal Australian Air Force, Matthew has held a number of senior weapons engineering roles within both Defence and the private sector. He was a founding owner of Novare Professional Services and has worked across all major areas of Defence guided and non-guided weapons.

Sam Gook in the role of Technical Coordinator within the Brisbane office facility. Having recently left the Department of Defence, Joint Logistic Unit – South Queensland where he delivered maintenance and support services contracts, Sam will provide technical sales support to the Government business.

Sam Ogden joins as Graduate Engineer supporting NIOA’s Major Munitions Contract and LAND 17-1C.2.

We are excited about the opportunities on our horizon and believe we have developed a strong and focussed team to achieve our goals. These new additions to NIOA add significant strength and experience to our team and will be complimented further with additional hires in the coming months.
