NIOA and Colt’s Manufacturing Company LLC have entered into an agreement to enable assembly and manufacture of Colt (including Colt Canada) Small Arms in Australia. 

This agreement was confirmed at SHOT Show 2017 in Las Vegas between Robert Nioa, Managing Director NIOA and Kenneth Juergens, Snr VP Govt & Military Programs Colt. This provides the framework to enable NIOA to undertake manufacture of Colt’s renowned small arms product range in Australia and integrate into Colts global supply chain. 

NIOA, as the current provider of Colt Small Arms for the Australian Special Forces and LE communities, is committed to maximising Australian industry capability in the provision of our support to Australian agencies. This agreement will allow NIOA to offer Australian government expanded domestic opportunities for future small arms procurements.

This agreement demonstrates the close NIOA/Colt company relationship, and further underlines NIOA’s growing capability to support Defence and Law Enforcement markets in Australia.
